About us
At SCDRC, we evaluate each individual to determine strengths and weaknesses, address family concerns, and develop an individual treatment plan that will incorporate the most adequate therapy approach and techniques for that person. When appropriate, we educate families on the techniques that are utilized during each session, additionally providing ideas of carryover through daily activities. Treatment is provided through play-based, child-centered, family-friendly approaches.
Additionally we strongly believe in a holistic based approach, evaluating and treating speech and language as a part of the whole body experience. We consider both internal and external factors for speech and language etiologies, by making appropriate referrals, and integrating wellness theories into all aspects of our practice.
At the Center, you will experience a calming atmosphere with relaxing sounds, textures and colors. The waiting area is equipped with stress relief amenities for parents and caregivers. You and your children will enjoy all natural, organic teas and snacks.
Apart from making a commitment to you and family, we also make a commitment to the environment with environmentally friendly practices that include driving fuel efficient vehicles to your homes for services.
About Me
My name is Devyani Jadhav
I’m Devyani Jadhav, the founder of a speech therapy centre that I established in 2020 out of a deep passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills. My academic background includes an MA in Psychology and a Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS), equipping me with a well-rounded understanding of both the psychological and technical aspects of speech therapy.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with children and adults who face various speech and language challenges. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, one that considers not just the speech difficulties themselves but also the emotional and social factors that play a crucial role in effective communication. My therapy sessions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring that they receive the support and guidance they need to make meaningful progress.

Get To Know Us
Hello there! We wanted to introduce ourselves. Our names are Devyani and Amogh we are the directors of services at SCDRC.
We’d like to take this opportunity to let you know a little bit about us and what brought us to the field that we are more than proud to be a part of, the field of speech language pathology.
We have known one another since last 10 years, and went through many seminars and workshops together. It was at the end of 2018, that we knew we had found a career field we could proudly spend the rest of our lives in, so we all decided to commit ourselves to the pursuit of our interest in this field.
Once that task was complete, and after a few years of providing our services through other facilities, we realized we wanted to make our own mark in a field that we had been students of for so long. That is, when we sat down over a cup of coffee, and decided it was time to start our own speech therapy practice, and it has been one of the best decisions either of us have ever made, and we have never looked back.
A passion that we all share is holistic wellness, which includes the maintenance of physical, psychological and spiritual balance through exercise and nutrition, as well as a focus on positive influences in our lives. This is something that, since day one, we have always wanted to translate directly through Savi Child Development and Research Centre (SCDRC).

You can trust that when we are developing a therapy plan, we are thinking of every possible approach, and focusing on the most positive, encompassing methods for you and your loved ones. The issues that we deal with are issues that affect not only those who are diagnosed, but their families as well, and that is why we also offer our services of education, consultation and advocacy to the family members of those we serve.
One of the reasons we decided to open Savi Child Development and Research Centre (SCDRC) so close to our homes is our commitment to our community. We have spent our lives in India and are proud of the beautiful community that we are a part of. Providing speech and language therapy is a job that when carried out properly, has a positive effect on people’s lives, and we made a conscious decision to have that positive effect on the community we are so proud to be a part of.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing more about ourselves as we begin on our journey together towards better communication wellness.
Sincerely,
Devyani
